The healing response

Regenerative Medicine tunes the body to better coherence with energy and information. Sacred Medicine understands that grace, love and inner peace are part of that process.

Why ‘regenerative’

Why ‘Regenerative’? This name came to me when reading about Regenerative farming, which is about restoring biodiversity and improving soil health using holistic and natural approaches. This makes sense to me and is why ‘Regenerative’ is an apt way to describe the medicine I am talking about. This is the way I think when dealing with a sick person, restoring the health of the biome, just as with soil, after years of misuse.

Adding the word ‘sacred’ is also a reminder that living systems are not machines but extraordinary living systems, that ultimately should be held in reverence and with respect.

The first series · Constantia

Health · Healing · Happiness

Three sessions, each building on the last — an exploration, together, of what it actually means to be fully alive. Run for the first time in early 2026; the themes below are how Bernard framed it.

24 January 2026

Health

What health actually is — living systems rather than machines, and the ways of knowing that make sense of them.

7 February 2026

Healing

When health asks for help — the big story of ill-health, and how healing works when the whole being is included.

21 February 2026

Happiness

Negotiating inner space — with the right maps, happiness arises as alignment with one’s own being.

The first series ran in Constantia over three Saturdays in January and February 2026, at R 2,950 for the full three parts. New dates have not been set, and an online series is planned.

Healthy Medicine

Here I set down the principles I’ve spent my working life practising: how to support health, not just treat disease — working with body, mind, and spirit together.

It’s the integrative model, distilled from thirty years of non-drug practice, always in service of one question: what does this body need in order to heal itself?

Exploring inner space

Mind Maps

Tools for the inner journey — each map is a stage of the same journey.

Over many years, in order to clarify my inner journey and find a way to share it with others, I have developed maps that make it easy for others to travel with me. Each map uncovers the deepening process — helping answer the questions around ‘Who am I?’ and ‘Where am I?’ and even ‘What am I?’

Maps are not the territory. Yet without maps the territory appears confusing. With maps, the territory is able to reveal its magic and mystery without feeling overwhelming.

Who Am I — The Greater Anatomy

Who am I? As I have come to see it: matter, energy, information — and body, emotions, mind, spirit, consciousness. All of that package. Most of us live in the outer ring — thinking, feeling, imagining — and mistake it for the whole self. But below thinking and emotion there is an inner space, a quiet that does not come and go. That is the territory the maps are for.

Coming Home

The last map — arriving at the place I call home: not a destination exactly, since it was always there, but the place you recognise once thinking and emotion finally quiet down. A place that never goes anywhere.

The Protocol Library

Over forty-five years I’ve developed protocols that have served me and my patients well — for inflammation, the gut, sleep, immunity, the hormonal system.

Each began as a clinical tool; together they are a way into the body’s own healing intelligence. The general guidance is freely shared; the full doses, timing and cautions live inside the membership.

What is a protocol? A protocol is a staged, practical pathway for one area of health — what to remove, what to restore, and in what order. Each one comes out of decades of clinical practice, is written to be followed at home, and always opens with its cautions. Begin with the general guidance; go deeper when you are ready.
